While we do love sipping cocktails in the warm summer weather at our favorite joints around Charm City, we have to admit we like to journey to some of the quieter parts of town for our happy houring, on occasion, too. For this, we are excited about The Valley Inn in Lutherville.
The Valley Inn is housed in a beautiful stone historic building that is nestled on tree lined Falls Road. Operated for 88 years by the Hatfield family, it closed its doors last year. Thankfully, the Inn was reopened early in 2014 by Ted Bauer, known for his success as a restaurateur from his ownership of the highly popular Oregon Grille.
For summer, The Valley Inn has rolled out some new specials. What better time is there to go check out this newly reopened Baltimore County treasure?
Mondays: $5 Moscow Mules from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Tuesdays: $3 Prosecco from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Wednesdays: Late Night “Hoppy Hour” from 9 p.m. – close, featuring domestic beers for $2.50 and all draft beers on sale for two for the price of one. Draft beers on tap at The Valley Inn include Bass Ale, Dale’s Pale Ale, Duckpin Pale Ale, Duvel, Fat Tire, Guinness, Lagunita Pils, Resurrection, Sam Adams Seasonal, Stella and Stone Self-Righteous.
Fridays: $6 Orange Crushes and Southsides from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Try their menu as well, with a good number of seafood options in addition to salads, burgers, entrees and more. Then comment here and let us know if this is your new suburban destination for drinking and dining this summer!
