Originally from Hawai‘i Island, I was born and raised amongst fresh papaya, lychee, pineapples, bananas, coconut, and sugarcane. I napped beneath palm fronds swaying to warm ocean trade winds while listening to the surf roll onto beaches of black, white, and green sand.
I’ve been in the Air Force for 17 years and have had the opportunity to explore many different parts of the world and some fabulous cities.
I love to support local establishments and enjoy the unique qualities of each individual community. Produce straight from the farm also has so much more flavor and soul than the stuff they serve in chain restaurants. Give me something fresh that awakens my taste buds…what can I try next??
